The third version of John W. Campbell’s classic short story ‘Who Goes There?’ (After 1951’s The Thing From Another World and John Carpenter’s cult classic from 1982) has a terrific cast, including Joel Egerton (Animal Kingdom – 2010 IFF) and could be the best version yet.

Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has travelled to Antartica to join a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across a spaceship buried in the ice.

When a simple experiment frees an organism from its frozen prison, Kate must join the crew's pilot, Carter (Joel Egerton), to keep it from killing them off one at a time. And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish.
